Market Update (June 22, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) As major Asian Indexes Mixed ahead on MSCI decision to include China A-Shares in the MSCI Emerging Market Index, JCI soared by 0.46% and climbed to 5,818.55. There were 3 out of 4 big banks (BBCA, BBRI & BMRI), along with UNVR, ICBP, and 107 others managed to add 26.45 pts to the Indonesia Benchmark Index as they edge up by 0.55%, 2.17%, 1.39%, 1.55%, 0.28% respectively. Even when the shakers outnumbered the movers by 221 and 112, while 131 other stocks remain unchanged.

Foreign investors themselves booked a total net purchase by IDR194bn in the regular board, push the infrastructure sector for 1.03% higher. There were IDR9.79tr total value of 17,517,982,988 shares traded, last Wednesday.

Market Update (June 21, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) Misc-Industry lead the Indonesia Composite Index into its positive territory and climbed by 0.87% ends at 5,791.90 levels, with 9,671,852,412 shares traded or equal with IDR7.80tr. Foreign Investors carved a net sell for IDR480bn, across the board.

Market Update (June 19, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) Ahead of coming Iedul Fitri’s Holiday, the rest of this week’s trading sessions will likely be shallow and choppy. As we seen last week the JCI ends lower to 5,723.64 pts, shrunk -0.91% as most market participants cashed out their gains and pushed the misc-industry, basic-industry index down by -1.70% and 1.05% respectively.

On the flip side, Foreign Investors were recording a net purchase by IDR200bn across the board among 92,968.76mn shares traded. Weakened stocks outnumbered the rising ones by 208 and 128.

Market Update (June 16, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) The Jakarta Composite Index was choked last Thursday, skidded for -0.29% edge lower at 5,776.28pts. Misc-Industry, Agribusiness and Properties sectors were tumbled down for -2.31%, -0.58%, -0.47% respectively and pushed the Indonesia Benchmark Index down by 16.61 pts.

Foreign Investors continues to cashed in their profit and this time they recorded a total Net Sell of IDR269bn, as the market roared for a total value around IDR5.4tr which was taken from 6,549,910,533.00 shares traded.

Market Update (June 15, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) Ahead of the possibility Fed Rate Hike, Jakarta Composite Index surge by 1.49% to close at 5,792.90 pts. Led by Misc-Industry, Property, Mining sectors that gains 3.35%, 2.13% and 1.85% respectively. And it was a new record high for June trading sessions, even when the Foreign Investors recorded a net sell by IDR199.21bn across the trading boards.

And the advancing stocks outnumbered the weakened ones, by 240 and 124, where 102 others remained in the same level. There were a total of 77,987,915 shares traded, with a total value of IDR6.22tr. Indonesia’s heavy weight stocks as the index’s movers were climbed sufficiently high, ASII gains 3.97%, BBRI surge by 2.59%, BMRI flew as high as 2.04% as well and pushed the JCI’s candle to form an Opening White Marubozu

Market Update (June 14, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) The Jakarta Composite Index rests slightly higher from the uptrend support at 5,712 – 5,715, surge by 0.28% to 5,707.65 pts. Following Mining, Misc-Industry and Basic Industry which grew by 0.75%, 0.73%, 0.66% respectively, along with 5 other sectors managed to push the market to hold on the 5,700s area.

There were 169 gainers, 173 decliners, and 109 stocks unchanged, whereas the market recorded a total net value of IDR4.64tr from the total of 61,418,919 shares traded. On the other hands, Foreign Investors cashed in their gain by recording a net sell for IDR169bn, across the board.

Market Update (June 13, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) Sluggish Market condition, could only lift the JCI as high as 0.28% to close at 5,691.44 pts and unable to finish at the 5,700s area. Bargain hunting on some heavy weight stocks, led 9 out of 10 sectors to ends higher and booked some gains; Misc-Industry, Trade and Finance sectors were the leader.

Foreign Investors recorded a net purchase by IDR617bn across the board, whilst the market booked a total number of IDR5.30tr from 60,354,147 shares traded. And within, the risen stocks outnumbered the fallen ones by, 165 to 158 and 107 ended in the same level.

Market Update (June 12, 2017)

(OpisBoi‘s Technocopter) JCI rests below its 5,690 support, weakened by -0.48% and closed at 5,675.52 pts. 8 out of 10 sectors declined, with Misc-Industry, Finance and Agriculture lead by -1.61%, -0.98% and -0.72% losses. Fallen stocks outnumbered the risen ones by 182 and 149, while 124 others were remained in the same levels.

Foreign Investors recorded a total net sell by IDR1.02tr across the board, as they unload their exposure on ASII BBRI BBNI BBCA. While the market booked a total value of IDR6.96tr from 76,675,198 shares traded last Friday.
